Medbridge

Medbridge, a pioneer in healthcare education and patient engagement, has built a strong brand serving a community of over 350,000 clinicians and 15 million patients per year. With the introduction of an entirely new offering in hybrid care, expanding their audience and their markets to millions of additional clinicians and patients, they recognized the need to reinvent their positioning and elevate their brand. The goal was to craft a distinctive visual identity that would both modernize their presence and unify the customer experience. They aimed to establish a bold and versatile visual identity that introduced a modern aesthetic, creating a seamless and cohesive experience across every customer touchpoint. This refreshed design system needed to adapt effortlessly across their website, digital channels, content, and product interfaces, enhancing user experience and reinforcing Medbridge’s standing as an industry innovator.

The refreshed brand and digital experience launched to overwhelming internal enthusiasm, with Medbridge's teams rapidly embracing and championing the new direction. This transformation catalyzed immediate improvements in user engagement and conversion rates while significantly elevating Medbridge's market presence. Partnering with Medbridge, Atomic Health's brand design and UX teams orchestrated a complete brand transformation. Our work went beyond aesthetics, delivering a strategic design system that harmonized user experience across their entire digital landscape. Reimagining H1's brand, leading to an award-winning website and a rejuvenated corporate identity.

H1 is a leader in healthcare data and solutions for the life sciences industry. With growth, they evolved beyond the scope of their original brand.  Recognizing the need for a transformative brand identity, they wanted  an experienced  design partner to help align their brand expression with their mission and vision as part of a complete visual overhaul.

The brief was clear: a unique, bold, modern visual identity, logo, and website aligned to their go-to-market strategy. All these elements had to reflect their role as innovators in life science.

H1’s brand identity  carved a bold new space for them in the industry --  earning them the Swaay Health 2023 Website of the Year award.

The rebrand connected their innovative mission and vision, heightened brand visibility, and demonstrated their role as an industry leader. This strategic alignment enabled H1 to communicate their value and solutions more effectively. Our continued digital marketing support plays a key role in sustaining their growth and market traction.

In collaboration with H1, we embarked on a transformative journey, beginning with a partnership with their CMO, redefining their brand messaging and positioning. From these insights, we crafted a rebrand strategy to reflect their evolved identity and future direction.

The discovery phase allowed us to develop a more cohesive visual identity to convey their market position, including an iconic new logo and a full-scale brand system. To ensure uniformity at launch, we delivered a corporate brand hub that provided all of the new assets and resources in one centralized place. The final piece was a revamped website which incorporated a new sitemap that reflected their  brand story and buyer journey.

Reinventing DNAnexus's identity, aligned with its leadership in precision health data management.

DNAnexus, a leader in precision health data management, reached out to us with a clear goal: they wanted a fresh, new look for their brand. They felt their current identity wasn't quite capturing their significant contributions to scientific research and patient care anymore. They were looking for a design overhaul that included everything from a new website to custom icons. The challenge was to create something visually stunning that  truly reflected the innovative spirit of DNAnexus in the healthcare industry.

This rebranding initiative marked a significant evolution in their brand journey. Their new brand identity and web experience  clearly showcased their mission and value proposition. Providing ongoing support throughout the new brand rollout led to a smooth transition, and our sustained collaboration in refining their website has further amplified their marketing and lead generation capabilities, driving their growth and impact in the industry.

In response to their brand revival, we embarked on a collaborative journey. It began with mood boards and stylescapes to hone in on DNAnexus’ aspirations and identity. This step was crucial for aligning our vision with their goals.

Our team crafted a fresh visual identity, incorporated a new color palette and typography to set their new foundation. Complementing this, we revamped their website to showcase their leadership in the industry, while improving their marketing website's user experience. Creating a custom iconography suite also added a personalized touch to their new brand direction.

Linus Health is a pioneer in digital cognitive assessments for the early detection of Alzheimer’s and other dementias. They needed a brand refresh as their existing visual identity no longer suited them. With an innovative platform and a clear mission, they sought a new brand system to help elevate their go-to-market motions.

Bringing Patina’s modern vision for care to life, setting new standards for care through design.

Patina

As a new venture aiming to reimagine care for adults 65+, Patina came to us with a white canvas, committed to redefining the healthcare and aging experience for their primary care patients. From the outset, their focus was on crafting a user and brand experience that would resonate deeply with an older audience.

Every aspect of the Patina app was meticulously optimized for clarity, ease of use, and simplicity. Our process involved comprehensive user research, detailed prototyping, and the creation of a visually appealing final design. This collaborative effort resulted in a product that transcends the typical, uninspiring patient portal experience.

Patina stands out with a bold brand identity that reflects their groundbreaking mission. This identity is a testament to their dedication to compassionate healthcare. The app's launch has effectively bridged the gap between patients and their care teams, enhancing communication and support. 

The collaboration began by exploring the vision, goals and ambitions. In order to bring a design-centered approach to their product and brand development, the team from Patina worked with Atomic Health to design an iconic brand identity and product design system that is authentic, distinct and accessible.

Patina’s mobile app not only connects patients directly to their care team, but helps them build a relationship with them over time. Working closely with the product development team, we helped design a mobile app UI that was all about profoundly improving the healthcare experience for older adults and the loved ones who care about them.

Collaborating with Optimize Health to create a user-centric website that reflects their growth and brand identity, and optimizes user conversions.

Optimize Health

Optimize Health, a fast-moving startup in the remote patient monitoring space, was at a critical juncture in their brand evolution. Their website had fallen behind their significant growth, no longer reflecting their evolved market position or refined brand vision in the health tech space.

Our mission was to strategically revamp their online presence, visual identity, and messaging to accurately reflect their new objectives and industry standing.

Our integrated marketing strategy delivered impressive early results. Prior to the new website launch, we achieved a 214% increase in quarter-over-quarter inbound qualified lead volume and a 40% reduction in ad spend.

Building on this momentum, we unveiled Optimize Health's revamped digital presence. The new website features a refined brand identity with a modernized logo, richer color palette, and enhanced visuals. Restructured site architecture and optimized conversion paths aim to improve navigation and user engagement.

Butterfly Network


Butterfly Network, a pioneer in advanced handheld ultrasound solutions, sought to elevate its enterprise UI/UX for hospitals and large medical systems. Recognizing the need for a design partner versed in healthcare technology and human-centered design, they turned to us.

As our collaboration progressed, our involvement expanded to include enhancing their point-of-care ultrasound experience. This project entailed developing a robust design system and refining digital touchpoints, ensuring a seamless user experience across their app ecosystem with a design partner  capable of adapting to their continuously evolving requirements.

Our partnership focused on developing a richer, more integrated design process, rather than just delivering set solutions. This collaborative effort enabled Butterfly Network to adopt more refined design strategies, enhancing their operational design approach. This engagement was more than a project; it was a significant step in their continued pursuit of excellence and innovation in health tech.

Throughout our partnership, we engaged in several major projects. We began by optimizing and streamlining workflows and enterprise UI/UX across their platform and addressed critical enterprise-wide design considerations. Next, we tackled mobile, ideating on completely new app directions and reimagining user interactions that could leverage their existing AI capabilities. Focusing on onboarding, we helped rethink these flows and provided a library of custom illustrations that effectively narrated our approach. Finally, we were entrusted with unifying and developing a comprehensive design system that drove speed and consistency across the design, product and engineering teams.

Bringing the power of design to older adults' health plan experience

Endear Health

Endear Health helps older adults more easily engage with their Medicare plan and benefits. They came to us with two goals, the first of which was to define their brand and visual identity. Second, they aimed to launch a purpose-built, intuitive app experience designed for value-based care. Our design approach focused on accessibility for older adults while accommodating white-label requirements for their payor and provider clients.

During our collaboration with Endear Health, we focused on creating a scalable, user-centered platform experience, resulting in both mobile and desktop applications for various Medicare Advantage plans. With a recently secured funding round and a sophisticated platform approach, Endear Health is uniquely positioned to improve the Medicare experience with innovative engagement solutions, purposefully built for an aging population.

Our approach to Endear Health's brand development began with crafting a distinctive logo and brand identity that set them apart, aiding in their successful market launch with a simple and effective website.

As they developed their platform UI/UX, we embarked on a comprehensive research phase, delving into a deep understanding of user goals, preferences and pathways. This collaborative journey with Endear Health led us to design a scalable platform, tailored to function seamlessly across diverse payor brands and configurations, ensuring a user-centric experience that resonates with their target demographic.

Amp Health, a digital health platform for workplace injury prevention, partnered with us at a pivotal moment. Ready for a bold transformation, they sought to refresh their visual identity, website, and product design to reflect their expanded vision and capabilities. 

More than just a new look, Amp Health needed a creative partner to reimagine their entire digital presence. They wanted a team willing to dive deep, rethink the details, and help them carve out a unique position in their market. The Atomic Health team understood the mission: bring their brand evolution to life, reenergize their user experience, and guide Amp Health confidently into its next chapter.

In addition to redefining their brand identity, the design and product teams at Atomic took a deep dive into Amp Health’s product experience, leading the charge to a visual refresh of their products. We conducted a thorough audit of their existing digital interfaces, identifying key areas for improvement in appearance and layout. With our expertise, we recommended and provided many improvements to Amp Health’s web platform and user app, ensuring the interfaces were not only visually cohesive with their rebrand but also optimized for scalability.

Partnering with MedsNow to design an innovative platform for independent pharmacy management.

MedsNow

MedsNow, a startup focused on reimagining invoicing and customer management for independent pharmacies, aimed to quickly bring a comprehensive software platform to market designed to streamline the complex operations of growing pharmacies. They sought a design partner with expertise in healthcare UI/UX, aiming to balance speedy market entry, optimized user experience, and a focus on   a clean visual design, crucial for their product's success.

In our collaboration with MedsNow, we delivered a complete solution for their MVP that aligned with their vision, poised to drastically improve operations for independent pharmacies. Our scalable, user-friendly product design balanced ease of use with robust functionality aligned to user goals and needs. Importantly, we also equipped MedsNow's engineering teams with a design system optimized for implementation and scale, ensuring the platform is well-prepared for market launch.

Our approach began with a deep understanding of MedsNow’s goals, focusing on optimizing the user experience for independent pharmacies to ensure the right product-market fit. Through an iterative design process, we developed and refined various solutions, constantly adapting them based on user feedback. This involved meticulously mapping out the workflows of different users to create a solution that was not just an invoicing application, but a comprehensive, end-to-end system. 

Refreshing ArisGlobal's employer brand, fusing legacy with modern innovation.

ArisGlobal

With over three decades of  serving the life sciences industry, ArisGlobal sought to invigorate their corporate brand with a fresh visual identity. This new visual language needed to pay homage to their established legacy while projecting forward as pioneers in customer-centric innovation. Their impressive clientele, featuring 30 of the top 50 biopharma companies, served as a testament to their expertise.

Central to their strategic vision was sustainability, and they required a brand system that could vividly convey their commitment to this cause, encapsulating their entire story in a coherent visual narrative.

The new brand system and website was rolled out to over 2,000 employees and helped clarify its position as a cloud leader in the life sciences sector. With a suite of new assets and brand touchpoints aligned to their new identity, ArisGlobal continues its relentless pursuit of innovation.

The design team began by aligning our creative development process with their new brand strategy. From there, we started a full-scale rebrand -- involving  unique visual identity to reflect ArisGlobal’s commitment to legacy, innovation, and sustainability. We utilized existing brand elements, balancing familiarity with a new direction that established a new identity and extended all the way through to their employer brand and website experience.

PaSeva

PaSeva was set to launch their new home healthcare management platform, accompanied by a fresh visual identity and an updated website experience. Their goal was to present a modern brand that resonates with their audience, while preserving their established reputation in healthcare. This introduction was strategically planned for an upcoming industry conference, showcasing their commitment to innovation and trust in the sector. 

At the industry conference, PaSeva's introduction made waves. Attendees were not just impressed; they were genuinely thrilled by what PaSeva had to offer. The visual overhaul received widespread acclaim, successfully grabbing the attention and sparking enthusiasm that the team had envisioned. The unveiling of their new website reinforced their refreshed brand identity, perfectly aligning with their mission to simplify home healthcare operations and empower healthcare facilities with the latest solutions.

Diving into PaSeva's brand design, we aimed to craft a logo that would echo the innovation at the heart of their healthcare management solutions. The logo we designed is not just unique; it's a visual statement of PaSeva's commitment to modernity and clarity in a complex industry.

The color scheme strikes a balance between warmth and contemporary vibes, chosen to be inviting yet indicative of cutting-edge technology. The aesthetic of the brand system reflects this with clean lines and a mix of cool blues with energizing greens, suggesting a blend of trustworthiness and vibrancy.

This visual overhaul wasn't just about a new look—it was about creating a suite of design elements that together enhance their value proposition and solidify PaSeva's brand perception as modern, accessible, and innovative.

An icon set for the digital health community, achieving global recognition for its unique design and practicality.

SVG.Health

We created svg.health  to fill an unmet need in the digital health and design landscape. We aimed to create a unique, comprehensive set of digital icons that offered functionality and visual appeal. We also envisioned these icons as tools to enhance the work of healthcare designers and developers.

The launch of SVG.Health’s icon set received positive feedback, affirming its value in the digital health and design space. Notably, a feature in the Japanese magazine Coliss led to a significant increase in downloads. The metric highlighted the international appeal of the icons.

This success fulfilled our goal of providing a valuable resource for designers in  digital health.

The development of svg.health’s icon set began with our illustration team crafting the initial designs which served as the initial prototype and style foundation. As the project evolved, we broadened the library across various care settings, specialties and medical concepts.

Propelling ArisGlobal’s LifeSphere platform into a new era through a new brand identity and dynamic website.

LifeSphere

ArisGlobal is a cloud-based solutions leader for the life sciences industry. Its flagship end-to-end drug development platform needed a rebrand. At the heart of the transformation was a desire to balance its history and future. The organization wanted a new visual look to honor its legacy while showcasing its technical innovation. Additionally, they wanted a website that would easily allow for updating content, templates, and campaigns.

The rebranding resulted in the successful transformation of LifeSphere’s brand identity. The new visual style conveys a sense of movement and momentum. Designing and developing a fast, performant website led to an enhanced buyer journey. This  significantly bolstered the capabilities of the LifeSphere marketing team in realizing their objectives. Equipped with a comprehensive brand library, a distinct identity, and a revamped website, LifeSphere has continued to successfully establish themselves as a force in the industry.
